Powerball Winner Nabs $314 Million, Mega Millions Jackpot Grows

On Saturday night, one winning ticket worth more than $314 million was reported in the Powerball game. The Powerball website revealed that the winning ticket was sold in Indiana.

The Saturday night win resets the Powerball to a new jackpot of $15 million.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot stands at $250 million for the August 28 drawing.

Mega Millions is played in California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.

The Powerball is played in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, U. S. Virgin Islands, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wisconsin
